Sharky 430

Sharky 430

The First Highly Automated Cleaning Robot Developed Specifically for Rearing and Laying Aviaries

In collaboration with Envirologic, a Swedish company with over 20 years of experience in fully automatic cleaning robots, Big Dutchman has developed Sharky 430, the world’s first autonomous cleaning robot for rearing and laying aviaries.

During its development, particular emphasis was placed on designing the cleaning arm. Its numerous degrees of freedom make the arm highly flexible, allowing it to access areas that are typically difficult to reach, such as nests or inner troughs. Sharky 430 employs contactless orientation to sense components of the aviary system, eliminating the need for guide rails. The robot is capable of operating around the clock, including at night, without human intervention with status updates automatically sent to a mobile phone.
